VIDEO: Give Your Soul to the Dance – A Tribute to Dance in Film

What better way to send off November than to give your soul to the dance? As you know, we’re big fans of Suspiria here at Much Ado, so I decided to make a compilation dedicated to the beauty of dance throughout cinema. Thom Yorke’s hypnotic song always brings up these images in my head of big ensembles, lavish costumes, and thrilling body movements, so it was simply wonderful to portray that in one of my edits.

VIDEO: Mission Impossible – Paddington Can’t Fight the Friction!

I love Paddington 2. I love Mission: Impossible – Fallout. So of course, what better way to express my love for two of my favorite 2018 releases/major hyper fixations than to combine them both in a trailer recut? This took a few weeks of editing, but I can proudly say it’s one of my favorite videos I’ve ever edited. How long until a bear like that, has had enough?

VIDEO: Modern Love, a Tribute to Running in Film

We here at Much Ado About Cinema are very obsessed with Frances Ha. It’s literally in the banner and branding of our website – Greta Gerwig running down the streets of New York without a care in the world. Because we all have this universal love for it, I thought there would be no better choice than to tribute one of the most memorable scenes in the film with this month’s video edit.

So here you have it, a tribute to running scenes in film set to “Modern Love”! Freely roam in pure, free-spirited bliss, then follow us on @muchadocinema on twitter for more content like this coming soon!
